Until thirteen years ago, my world was numbers. I studied Economics at Delhi University, completed my Master’s in Economics and Finance at Cardiff University, and went on to clear all three levels of the CFA Program. I spent five years in finance - in research and in risk management. The work was intellectually stimulating - yet, something was missing. I longed for work that was more deeply connected to people, purpose and impact.
The turning point came thirteen years ago when I took my daughter to parent–toddler classes. As a young mother - now a mother of two - I witnessed how profoundly the early years shape a human being. I saw how confidence is formed, how curiosity is either nurtured or dimmed, and how emotional security becomes the foundation for all future learning.
This realisation led me to co-found BrightRight Academy. Since then, I have devoted myself to teaching children and designing a curriculum that nurtures curiosity, confidence and a genuine love for learning.
I believe that a child’s brain holds extraordinary potential - and that when it is gently and consistently nurtured, that potential can truly flourish. Living in the land of startups has further strengthened my belief that when children are educated beyond rigid systems - free from rote memorisation and pressure to constantly perform - and instead guided by their innate love for learning, they will grow into intuitive and creative thinkers, capable of solving many of the challenges the world faces today.
